I spent a good part of my time in Seattle, Wa US living like a cockroach, eating tons of cheap food (bananas, noodles, rice, tofu) so that I could pay down my debt before purchasing a sailboat.
“I AM NOW OFFICIALLY 100% DEBT FREE!”
I was able to relieve myself of the bulk of my debts before arriving in Florida and aboard Frannie C, but I still had a bunch of credit card debt. So while here in Miami I have followed much of the same path, trying to save money and pay these damn cards off.
Captain Fatty Goodlander once said (and I am paraphrasing), “Never get behind the eight-ball, and if you are get out from behind it.” That that was the tallest order of business, even more so than purchasing a vessel.
I give more credence and credit to his words than I do the Bible. You should buy all his stuff BTW. (Amazon, non-affiliate links BTW, I make nothing)
Today I paid off my last card and I am now officially 100% debt free.
“CAPTAIN FATTY GOODLANDER ONCE SAID NEVER GET BEHIND THE EIGHT-BALL”
DID YOU HEAR ME?!?!?! DEBT MOTHER F****** FREE!
There are also many other things coming down the pipeline! Stay tuned!
Peace & Love
